[wpc_custom_heading heading=”About the Project” colored_line=”yes” line_color=”primary” position=”left” size=”medium”]The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County unveiled its new branches in Reading and St. Bernard in June 2015 as part of a larger scale $11.7 Million building renovation initiative that began in 2014. Graybach was awarded the general trades package for the Reading library and St. Bernard library. As reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer, “These long-awaited new locations will enrich the communities they serve by fostering continuous learning,” said Kimber Fender, the library’s director. “When we design new spaces, we try to incorporate new technology and ideas that will serve the changing needs of communities for years to come.”

The Reading and St. Bernard branches are new construction projects to replace and relocate their current branches. The 12,000-square-foot Reading branch is located on Reading Road across from Southern Avenue. The 8,000-square-foot St. Bernard location was built on the corner of Vine Street and McClelland Avenue.
