Cincinnati, OH, December 12, 2016 – Graybach, LLC, a local general contracting and construction management company, has commenced renovation for a new Tex Mex restaurant in Over-the-Rhine downtown Cincinnati.

As reported by Cincinnati Business Courier, “B & A Street Kitchen is slated to open at 1500 Race St. in mid-February. Owners Norma and Jim Kerns moved to Over-the-Rhine in 2012 and purchased the building shortly after. The original plan was to renovate the upper floors into apartments, and then lease the bottom for retail, but the Kernses flipped that idea on its head and began working on the restaurant a year ago.” The owners believe the restaurant will fill a gap in OTR for fast, casual dining.

Graybach is general contractor on the project and will be working closely with the Kernses to ensure the build meets their design standards and gets completed on schedule in early 2017.

This construction renovation is the latest in Graybach’s expanding portfolio of commercial and residential products in Over-the-Rhine’s facelift. “While renovations of historical buildings are far more complex than new builds, we are nonetheless overjoyed with our involvement in these efforts to improve our city long-term,” said co-owner of Graybach, Pete Subach.
