General Contractor Graybach Begins Construction of Westside Major Connection Project

Cincinnati, OH, July 18, 2011 – Graybach, LLC, a local general contractor and construction management company, literally breaks ground at the groundbreaking celebration of the Metro’s Glenway Crossing Transit Center and Park & Ride.

This Monday morning at the Glenway Crossing Shopping Center in Glencrossing Way at Anderson Ferry, Graybach joined the groundbreaking celebration as the General Contractor for the Metro’s newest project to expand Cincinnati’s public transportation system. “Being chosen by the Metro for a project of this magnitude is an honor. This transit center will benefit countless Westside residents, and its construction is another stepping stone in building our company’s footprint in Cincinnati,” said owner Pete Subach.

The center will include four Metro bus stops, passenger shelters, 70 Park & Ride spaces, new sidewalks, landscaping and signs, according to a news release. The four major bus stops will be: Rt. 6 Queen City, Rt. 39 Western Hills-Uptown, Rt. 64 Westwood Ferguson, and Rt. 77X Delhi Express. The project, which will cost $623,700, is expected to be completed this fall and will be the largest bus stop in Western Hills.

Graybach will begin construction immediately following the groundbreaking celebration, and is eager to meet their aggressive timeline to complete the project this fall to reduce the possibility of weather interruptions.
