Cincinnati, OH, February 9, 2016 – Graybach, LLC, a local general contracting and construction management company, announces their latest involvement in the revitalization of Over-the-Rhine: construction of the 5,700-square-foot Epicurean Mercantile Company.
As reported by WCPO, “Owners Meredith Trombly and Louis Snowden say the 5,700-square-foot Epicurean Mercantile Company will include a lunch counter offering freshly prepared foods gathered from the grocery’s retail space and prepared by Chef Dan Jensen in front of guests.” The addition of a grocery store marketing to all income levels and offering everything from fresh foods, libations and personal care items to seasonal gifts will complement the stores, grocers, and restaurants in and around Findlay Market.
Graybach is general contractor on the project and will be working closely with the Epicurean Mercantile Company to ensure the build meets their design standards and gets completed on schedule. The grocery store is scheduled to open in September 2016 adjacent to the market complex at 1818 Race Street in downtown Cincinnati.
This construction is a part of the $24 million Market Square development to revitalize the 1800 block of Race Street, and Graybach is excited to be involved in this latest addition to Over-the-Rhine’s facelift. “Our company headquarters are in Over-the-Rhine, so every new project that springs up in this area literally hits close to home for us. We are thrilled to be the general contractor for the Epicurean Mercantile Company, and believe it will become a hotspot for local residents,” said co-owner of Graybach, Pete Subach.
